چکیده

Objective To investigate the neuroprotective potential of Aspirin (AS) and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) against neuro-autoimmune diseases (NAD) additional comorbidity. Background AS is an NSAID used for treatment prevention cardiovascular neurologic disease. However, extent NSAIDs benefits their comorbidity in patients with NAD has not been completely characterized. Design/Methods A retrospective analysis on 34464 hospitalized at a tertiary care center major metropolitan area was conducted. 6168 8228 were taking either or admission, respectively. 18707 aspirin (nMED). Patients further categorized as alone (aAS), NSAIDS (aNSAID), no medications (anMED). The outcomes compared included prevalence risk comorbidities. Results had significant difference to those nMED (0.45%, 0.6%, 0.56%, p > 0.05). aAS mortality rate 10.7% 1.9% anMED (p < 57% 14.4% high comorbidities 0.0001). encephalopathy overall neurological complications significantly higher (17.8%, 6.7%, 0.05; 28.6%, 13.%, aNSAID increase mortality, comorbidity, when (4%, 10%, 6.1%, 13.5%, Conclusions These results suggest that may provide strong protective benefit among despite associated
